its not working with new Wp editor

  • Wp updated, Plugin Tinymce updated. I set everything for adding toolbar also with the new WP Block editor. Nothing, i can not see any button added to the toolbar in the new editor. Please help.

    In particular it can be useful for you to know that the Classic paragraph is not recognized and there is a message that say “This block caused an error”

    Hmmm, seems there are JS errors somewhere. First thing to try is to reload the page a few times while holding down Shift.

    If the errors continue, what do you see in the browser tools? I know there are a lot of errors there now with the Block Editor. Some are just warnings (but take a lot of space). It’s still worth it copying them and pasting them here so I can have a look ??

    I just tried your suggestion and it did load the top bar but the lower bar is all little squares. I highlighted some text and clicked insert, Insert Edit link and when I click that my screen starts flashing.

    The insert media which wasn’t working before now works.

    If I disable tiny mce advanced the default menu works fine

    Uh, seems not all files are loaded, still. Perhaps try to reload the page while holding Shift few more times. This may also get fixed in WP 5.0.2 that’s coming out shortly.

    I think this may be caused by a workaround I had to add to TinyMCE Advanced for the Twenty Nineteen theme (it was breaking the button icons when used). The bug should be fixed in the theme together with 5.0.2, so going to remove the workaround in the next version of the plugin.

    I currently backed up my site and upgraded to WP 5.0.2 and re-activated MCE and checked, still the same look as I attached in previous email. I hit shift and reloaded the page a dozen times and a few icons came up but they still don’t work. I deactivated MCE and deleted it from my site and downloaded a full download from your site and installed and the results are the same as above. I hit shift and reload several times and nothing changed.

    I hope this helps you because I love MCE and I look forward to using it again as soon as you can figure out the problem. if you need me to test anything please don’t hesitate to let me know!
