[Plugin: Category Icons] Changing order trough which icons are displayed whithin posts

    I am using this great plugin but I am having a problem that, while seems to be simple to solve, I am having no success.

    I configured Category Icons plugin to show icons following “my category order”, in the plugin settings. And so they are shown in the sidebar.

    But whithin posts, in front of my post titles, category icons keep showing in the alphabetical order, not in “my category order”.

    Anyone have any idea on how could I solve that?

    first, thanks for using my plugin. This issue is normal : I’ve only set the widget to use the Category Order plugin, not within the posts… But I’m working on the new version of Category Icons and I want to make it possible… So please, be patient. I think I’ll release it right after the official WP2.8 final release, if possible.

    Once more I thank you for the fast reply!

    I am very glad to hear from you that this point would probably be solved in the next version of the plugin. So I can just hope it will come among us quickly, as since installed it is almost impossible to run a blog without “Category Icons” again!

    Hence, I only hope – and even beg you – that the plugin will still be compatible with prior versions of WordPress, not just the 2.8!

    I’m trying to keep the compatibility with prior versions of WordPress, but it’s becoming harder… I think I’ll stop to maintain the retro-compatibility with the version 3.0 of WordPress to make the plugin lighter & simpler to maintain…

    Choosing and disclosing an end point to stop the retro-compatibility makes sense and seems to be a very well organizaded way to do that.

    So users can organize and plan themselves too. Very well!
