    Hello,

    My website is https://groovyjesus.com/
I am using the Primer “Version 1.8.6” and having an issue with the header image being replaced by the blog post “Featured” image. There is a checkbox to “Use featured image” in the header media section of the theme and this is not checked. I have checked it, published, then unchecked it and republished but the issue is still there. The featured image always overrides the default header image.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Steve

  • Hi @groovyjesus,

Sounds like this may be a bug. We will investigate and get back to you when we’ve had a moment to test.

    Hi @groovyjesus,

I just did a quick test and it appears that the checkbox in the customizer is working as expected. When unchecked, the Header Image media is loaded in the header. When checked, the posts featured image overrides that value and is loaded in place of the Header Image value.
