    Hello,

after upgrading CT to the latest version 1.2 I experienced some strange behaviour when the plugin is active at the same time as Yoast SEO.

    • The Yoast metabox does not load any content.
    • I can no longer add media to my posts – clicking the Add Media button does nothing.

The problem can be reproduced on different browsers/operating systems. Both plugins seem to work fine when running separately.

    hi kopyright,
    i am running

    • WordPress v5.0.0
    • Yoast v9.2.1
    • Crop Thumbnails v1.2.0

    With no Problems.

What my cause problems are old browser-caches of the javascript files. But normaly wordpress care about this by adding the version number of the plugin to the file.

If you open the browsers developer console, did you see any errors (please first update to the current Version of WP and the plugins).

I’ve got the same problem. Running WP4.9.8, not 5.0. There seems to be a clash between your plugin and latest Yoast SEO which breaks some JS functionality in the editor screen. It broke the “Tags” box on Events Manager plugin as well.

Same here. v1.2 with wp v4.9.8
Console errors on some admin pages.
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'addFilter' of undefined
The error is on handleFeaturedImagePanel() function where wp.hooks is undefined.

    Rolling back to 1.1.3

    Thank you!

Hi, same here, too. At first I thought it was a conflict between the latest Yoast SEO plugin and the SiteOrigin Page Builder plugin (Yoast metabox not loading content and the Page Builder not working at all). But when I went through the plugins piece by piece the problems only occurred when the Crop Thumbnails plugin was activated.

    WordPress 4.9.8, Theme: Bento.

    Thank you for your time.

Ok, i added a extra test to make sure wp.hooks exists (wich strangly does when yoast issnt active). You should try crop-thumbnails 1.2.1.

    Thanks for reporting.

Not sure about other people’s configurations but the conflicts with Yoast seem to be resolved with 1.2.1

    Thanks Volkmar!
