  • Support it longer please. Gutenberg sux ??

It’s incredible how may updates there has been of this plugin since WordPress 5.0 was released. And it seems there are still many incompatibilities. What a shame!

Yep. Classic Editor plugin does not solve the problem, its only an attempt to solve the problems introduced with Gutenberg and WordPress 5 but it will never be the solution.

That’s right, but now developers work for next updates to give us more support to use Gutenberg. I’m also Core Developer of Gutenberg and know what you mean. Its really new feature for all of us, but now beginn the new feature with the new editor.

But we hope to give more support for this plugin for custom websites with ACF works fine and i think the Core Team will extend the Support Year.. But now its time to learn Gutenberg first ?? almost all popular WP Plugins are compatible with WP 5.0 because dont worry ??

Well shame on you Benjamin Zekavica. Gutenberg should have been a plugin and not core. For me there is no future with Gutenberg.

@damsko that’s your opinion (at the moment) and has nothing to do with who contributes to Gutenberg (tries to make it better) or not ??

@benjamin_zekavica, thanks for contributing to WordPress!

@azaozz yep its not an option for me to hide that i dislike Gutenberg although its more that i dislike that the classic editor is moved out of core and send on a road of becoming deprecated, i could have lived happily ever after with a WordPress that offered a choice between the two editors, i then simply could and would have carried on and not use Gutenberg ever. How things are handled now on WordPress makes me angry because i care but damage has been done. A lot of people depending on WordPress the way it was got the rug pulled underneath from them, they are now struggling and many hope that the Classic Editor plugin that i think you initiated can sort things out but its not as it used to be anymore. I still see the effort that several make and i still have a lot of respect for a lot of people working on WordPress but some lost my respect big time. Benjamin Zekavica surely is not one of those. If there probably is one person not to blame for this whole mess then it might be Benjamin. I probably owe him an apology.

It however will not be a “at the moment” thing for me concerning my attitude on where WordPress is going now.
