    Hi there

I have an issue with coupons in WooCommerce.

    Issue description:
    1. Coupon value is $10
    2. Cart value is $8
    3. Coupon is applied
    4. Cart value is $0 (correct)
    5. Coupon value is $0 (surprising, would expect $2 left)

    Question:
Is this how coupons in WooCommerce work?
Is there a setting to control this behaviour?
If not, is there a way to achieve this?

    Sincerely
    Rasti

    Info:
    PHP 7.2
    WP 4.9.8
    WC 3.4.5
    Theme: Custom
Tested: also on a clean installation with just WooCommerce and TwentySeventeen active.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @djrasti

Yes, the behaviour is correct when using WooCommerce core coupons. It sounds like you would like to provide a Store credit functionality. If so, using a plugin such as Smart Coupons will allow for the functionality you are trying to achieve.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
