Double post to facebook in WP 5.0

  • I have a plugin at my site. “WP Facebook Auto Publish”
    It works fine until I update to WP 5.0 and start using Gutenberg editor.

    When I publish a new post at my site, it should automatic publish it at my FB page.
    Before I update to WP 5.0 it works fine, only one published every time.

    Now when I publish the same post shows up twice, with 1 minutes delay.
    I have to go to the FB page and delete the first one.

    Any idea why ?

    I use version 2.0.1
    Where can I find version 2.1 ?

    Wordpress say that I have the latest version.
    I try to download it from your website, but this is also 2.0.1

    I clear cache at my site… then the 2.1 version came.
    I update… will try when I have a new post to post.
    Let you know if its works

    The problem is still there, but now with 3-4 minutes delay between the first and the second post.

    We can’t reproduce this issue .
    Are you sure you didn’t edit the post after 3/4 minutes.
    If the issue persist,as a temporary fix set ‘Auto publish on editing posts/pages/custom post types’ as Disabled and please contact our support desk.

    I may edit some error in text.
    How can I disable auto publish on edit ?

    In General Settings tab in the Settings menu,there is an option under the Advanced Settings, Auto publish on editing posts/pages/custom post types set it as Disabled .
    Or you can set Enable auto publish post to my facebook account as No ,from the metabox at post edit page as shown in the screenshot here: https://prnt.sc/ltfmz3

    OK… but this is Disabled…

    If the post is already auto published to Facebook ,then the the metabox in edit page will set Enable auto publish post to my facebook account as No as in the screenshot at https://prnt.sc/ltfmz3 .
    We have tested this in our end with wp5.0 and it is working for us.
