• I don’t want the WP Like button to appear on the front page, so I enter its address in the “Exclude Page/Post” text field and then press “Save settings”.

At that moment the address disappears from the text field, and the Like button *is* shown on the front page – however, only in smart phones, not in Windows.

Why is the web address of the page to be excluded not saved?

In the FAQ it says that, to exclude specific pages or posts,

select “Exclude following pages and posts”, you’d notice a drop down menu. Please type in page or post name, drop down menu would display page or post, please select it through mouse or press enter. <end quote>

However, I don’t know the name of the frontpage of our website. Well, it is named “(ei otsikkoa) — Etusivu” in WP’s Pages list, but the “exclude page/post” text field won’t accept that.

“ei otsikkoa” is Finnish for “no title”.

The address of the page to be excluded is

    https://vastavalkea.fi

The problem seems to be that the front page does not have a title, and that is because it is the front page of the entire website and a visible page title was therefore not wanted (as it would also break the structure of the front page).

Why is the button shown on the front page in the first place, as I have not selected “All pages”, but only “All posts”?
