Classic Editor does not work after updating to WordPress 4.9.8

  • Classic Editor does not function in my website after updating to wordpress 4.9.8
    and changing theme to twenty-seventeen child version. I have deactivated all plugins and the problem remains.

    I activated visual editor in user and my problem has been solved. Thanks to David Beckwith (@diggeddy)
