Core updated automatically when disabled

    Hi,

    By default, WordPress won’t automatically update across major versions (4.9 to 5.0). That means that you have something *else* in your hosting setup (a plugin, or something done by the web host) to over-ride that. EUM can only control the default setting; the innards of how WP works means it can’t force something else that is determined to do the update to stop.
