WPPA+ sname links in albums
-
I haven’t used wppa+ for a few weeks and now coming back to it, I find that the 6 new albums I’ve created in the last few days do not function properly. They show me their thumbnails, however all thumbnails have links of this format: https://www.mysite.com/%5Blanding-page%5D/wppaspec/oc3/cv0/abNew-Album/pt3492
Looking for the reason, I found that my 6 latest albums all have acquired an “sname” in table wp_wppa_albums called “New-Album” (where previous albums have a “computer friendly” ID set, eg no spaces).
As I’ve sleuthed out, “sname” should contain an album ID, to refer to the desired [sub]album. However, since there is no clearly defined relationship as to which “New-Album” sname refers to (there being 6), and so the first of these “New-Album”s is always shown when I click on any image thumbnail, not the expected image of said thumbnail.
I have successfully used wppa+ on this development site before, but perhaps due to my absence for a few weeks I made a simple mistake in creating the last few new albums? Or is it a new behaviour that I should have set and have overlooked?
I am loathe to just go and “adapt” the sname column in the wp_wppa_albums table, figuring there must be a reason for it being there…My site is not yet open to the public, but if you need to see an example, check out https://1099703017.n79156.test.prositehosting.co.uk/photo-charles/ with pw “!N0w” for the next few days or so.
[err, actually, that path may not work, it’s sub menu “Done” -> “Photos Charles”, the other (=prior) sub-albums work well]I hope I’ve correctly detailed the issue, if not, please forgive, ’tis my first support question to this forum … which I’d like to see as a mark of wppa+’s excellence(!); I never needed to turn for help in this way. Bravo to Jacob!
Thanks,
serge
