Pages/Posts – Can’t Add or Edit in WP 2.7.1

  • Hi. I am having problems saving, editing, and creating new pages in WordPress. I am using the bsocial Theme from ithemes. I disabled my plugins, that didn’t work.

    When I create a new page and hit save as draft or publish, it just takes me to the page index. And when I try to edit an existing page it never saves the changes.

    The same problem with posting.

    Please help.

  • Have you checked the URL in Settings is absolutely correct?
    Have you tried using the Classic or Default Theme and adding a page?
    What plugins are you running?
    Have you recently changed Permalinks? Or edit your .htaccess?

    Check your database user privileges, you need to have appropriate permissions to add/delete/alter data in the tables.
