Drop Cap

When I use Drop Cap, I get box with A in Drop Cap. Drop Caop Size and Style work. It also has “dd Paragraph Text…” If I type or cut and paste in anything, the Drop cap goes away and I can’t get it back.

It may be I am missing something completely obvious. However, don’t know what that is.
