[Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] Confused about Use…

I installed the Google Analytics for WordPress plugin, but I am unsure of how to use it. Does this make my blog show up in my Google analytics account? Or does it make Google analytics show up in WordPress?

I believe I successfully installed the plugin and set it up with my ID number. However, I don’t see anything about Google Analytics or WordPress in either of the locations I described above.
