Cool Tags

  • I will like to create a Tag Cloud from my Keywords and then for the Tags to show on the left or bottom of my page. How do I do this please?

    The plugin uses the WordPress tags that are added to the posts. It’s available as a widget.

    You could use a plugin like Widget Shortcode in order to put the widget outside of a widgets area.

    I don’t have any Posts just one page, It would be nice to use a list of Keywords as Tags. But it could be that I am not understanding Tags properly. I am trying to improve the Keyword density on the page, am I doing the wrong thing? Thanks.

    Hi,

    The purpose of WordPress tags is grouping posts that are similar. You have categories that do the same thing but categories are used for a wider grouping. Let’s say you have a sports related website, categories would be Football ( Soccer ), Basketball, Tennis… That’s the main separators.

    And you’re creating a post about a football match between Spain and Italy, you would put Spain, Italy, the names of the player that scored a goal… as tags. So if someone is interested in reading more news about the player he clicks the tag to see all news for that player.

    As for keyword density, you should adjust your post/page content ( the main content you write ) for that.
