We apologize for the inconvenience. Can you please provide us with the error message you are getting on your console when you click on the blank meta box? This KB article explains how to do so: How to find JavaScript errors with your browser’s console?

Also, can you confirm if updating your WPML plugin resolves the issue? Is your Yoast plugin updated to 9.2.1?

I don’t think I have the WPML plugin, unless one of my other plugins does the same thing.

I’m updated to 9.2.1.

Nothing happens when I click on the blank meta box area.

I just tried using yoast on firefox instead of safari and it shows correctly… not sure why in Safari it’s not working.

Can you please disable any extensions on the Safari browser and check if it works? Also, you may also try clearing Safari’s cache and see if that resolves the issue.

If Firefox is showing correctly, then it’s a browser related problem.

Hi, just jumping in to say I was having the same issue and updating WPML to the latest version solved it.

@klaro Thanks for letting us know. However, while the issues do seem similar, they had different causes. There was indeed an issue with WPML which was fixed in the latest update.

@charlieallred480 Are you using any browser extensions on Safari? If so, would temporarily turning them off fix this issue?
