Limit not working

    Hi, this is my shortcode below and I only get 5 events showing even when I have over 20. How do I get the limits to work?

    [events-calendar-templates template=”default” category=”event” date_format=”default” start_date=”” end_date=”” limit=”1″ order=”DESC” hide-venue=”no” time=”past” title=”Past Events”]

    Hi @determined1,

    First of all make sure you have added events more than 20 of same category that you have selected in shortcode (i.e. event).
    As you have selected time=”past” in shortcode, so only past events(whose end date has been passed) will be display in your event list.

    You can limit the number of events to display by changing the value of limit=”20″ in shortcode.

    I’ve done everything right and yet it still doesn’t work.

    okay it works now. What I failed to do was to assign the other events a category.
