The idea is to deactivate so as to identify which plugin (if any) is causing the problem. You should also try the default theme to see if it is a theme problem.

Quite honestly, IE (7 and 8) are very seldom the real problem.

i’m facing exactly the same pb. Just reinstalled the wordpress and none of the plugin is activated yet. So i doubt that it’s the plugin which causes the pb.

Help is really appreciated.

Problem solved.
It was caused by an underscore in the sub-domain name.

I was also facing the same prob with my blog…thanks for the solution
