    I created a new notification for New User Registration for User. Notification is enabled. The test email sends fine but the default WP email still sends on new user registration and the new email does not send at all. Post SMTP is properly configured and confirms the new notification is not showing in the log.

    I’m having the same issue, in my case the Frontend Registration – Contact Form 7 plugin is sending the default e-mail. Maybe your problem is the same @luckae, I haven’t find any good solution (i’ve solved this removing the part of the code of the cf7 plugin).

    Maybe with this information @voltronik can help us with a better solution. Hope this help you guys!

    This is most likely a separate case but probably an issue with the Frontend Registration – Contact Form 7 plugin. Are you able to test with a different registration plugin to see if this is the problem?
