I see that all registered/logged in users have an Events link to their topbar. Not sure why this happen and what it serves.

How can we remove that ?

    Thanks

  • Hi there,

The Events item in the admin bar is there to make it easy for site admins, editors and authors to access and create events.

There are no settings to remove this, but it would be possible with some customization. Check out the following article:

    Hope that helps!

    Hello.

I understand, but i already posted that NORMAL loggged in (registered) users see that. Not admin, editors or authors.

    Hi again,

The user should only see options in the Events admin bar item for things they have the proper permissions for.

For example, when logged in as a subscriber, the only option I see is “view calendar”.

If you’d like to customize when this displays, you can do something like what is described in this article: https://digwp.com/2016/06/remove-toolbar-items/

    Hope that helps!

@skyshab Thanks for the time you took to reply again to me.

I get it, but registered users should not be able to see that in the top black bar. I have 47 plugins and yours only show that in there.

Anyway, i understand that it can’t be avoided (or i must follow the guide you posted, but i don’t want to do that).

    Thank you
