    Tooltips Don’t Work in Shortcodes.

    Tried several different plugins and methods but all same. Text highlights(underline) but no tooltip. Works fine when not in shortcode.

    Is there a question?
    Tooltips are generated by the browser when an HTML element with a title attribute is hovered.

    Yes.
    The tooltip does not appear when in shortcode. There is only an underline.
    Now to get it to appear?

    The tooltip appears normally unless in a short code, where only a squiggly underline is seen to denote the tooltip. Consistent in all plugins. Must be problem with theme or WordPress. No errors come up, so have no idea where to look. Tooltips just don’t appear. No problem when used on page or post. Just in shortcodes.

    One plugin does the trick: Shortcodes Ultimate.
