    Hi

I discovered that when I attempt to edit a ticket reply, I could not save the changes. The save changes button get stuck on “saving…” and just hanged there. If I referesh the page eventually, the page is not saved.
I disabled all plugins and tested again but the same problem persist.
Any idea what may be causing this. The plugin meets my need but this is a major issue if you can only create replies but not edit.

    Thanks

  • Hi:

Can you take a look at your browser console to see if there are any Javascript error messages?

Also, if you have already deactivated your plugins, try switching your theme to the basic WP 2015/16/17 theme and see if that helps.

    Thanks.

    Hi

When I clicked the save button, this error shows up in the browser console:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php:1

What does it mean and please what can I do?

    Regards

    Hi:

It looks like a general ajax error on the server. Since it looks like its not finding something, one thing you can try is to delete the plugin completely and reinstall it. Maybe a file was accidentally removed or something.

Or, if you have a firewall or security plugin on the site or you are using security with something like Cloudlfare or modsecurity, one of them could be accidentally configured to be blocking something essential related to ajax.

    Thanks.
