I am wondering if anyone has encountered this issue yet. I am getting certain pages hitting my page views on google analytics twice on mobile (not desktop). When I load the page on my phone it doesn’t look like it’s reloading, but I can see the double hits in GA in real time view. I’ve checked on my desktop through chrome that the tag only fires once.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

I checked your site with my mobile phone but I do not see any second hit during page load.

Don’t you have any plugin that is related to mobile versions of your site? Perhaps your theme has some options to include an Analytics property ID for mobile devices?

Hi – thanks so much for your reply. I discovered that it’s not firing twice so much as the pages appear to be loading more than once on mobile. I spoke to my host who initially thought it was an issue with my theme, and then they thought it was a caching issue on their end. They fixed the caching issue, which helped one page that kept reloading on mobile, but some (not all) other pages are still doing it. I’m still trying to solve the issue but just thought I’d pass it on in case someone else runs into something similar.

    Thanks, again.
