Backup Not completing : heelp

    Hi team,

    I am trying to make a full backup of my website with updraft plus. Unfortunately, the backup is not completing due to reading of a file which is not possible.

    “illisible file, impossible to save” (please modify access rights of the file).

    I tried to modify the rigths of the file with filezilla, but it not possible (550 Could not change perms on index.php: Permission denied)

    What are the steps to follow so that my backup is completed ?

    Hi,

    The log says that the file /home/neoprodu/www/wp-content/uploads/index.php is not readable. That means that PHP does not have the capability to read it, and therefore it can’t be added to the backup. Though, its contents are known, as it’s a standard WP file; it doesn’t need backing up. But if it is troubling you, you can ask your web hosting company how to make it readable on their setup. Its permissions must have been changed by an admin at some point.

    The reason the backup doesn’t complete isn’t that (that’s just a warning/information); the log says that you need to re-authorize your connection with Google Drive, which you can do in the ‘Settings’ tab.

    Hi David,

    Thanks for the answer. I just excluded the file from the bakcup and it succeeded. I reauthorized google drive, and it was ok.
