How to Display posts on a Certain Page

  • Hi there,

    I want to know how to display a certain number of latest posts upon a page.
    For example, I have my usual News page that displays all my posts but I also want to display around 5 of my latest posts on my static Front Page so my visitors can see the top 5 latest articles without having to click through my website.

    I don’t however want to get rid of my static Front Page as I want it to display a welcoming paragraph and then the top 5 posts underneath.

    Is there anyway to do this without having to remove my static front page or redirecting it to the news page?
