Subscribe widget not working

I started Jetpack today in order to have a simple subscribe form that would send emails to those who want to read my blog.

I typed in my own email, so I could test it and make sure it works and this is the message I received:

“The email address has opted out of subscription emails.
You can manage your preferences at subscribe.wordpress.com”

I have no idea what this means. As far as I know, I have never checked off anything that excluded me from receiving subscriptions to blogs. I tried all three of my email addresses with the same result.

I followed the link they provided and all it did was bring me to a page where there is a list of blogs I follow. Which are none.
