SItemap and Robots.txt question

  • I think I have a plugin that is taking too many resources and my host as suspended my account. I’m trying to come up with some solutions.

    What would be the effect of submitting an XML sitemap to Google via the plugin but having a robots.txt that disallows robots?

    I am having an issue with using excessive resources on my server and need to find where the problem is and stop it.

    I intend to disable all plugins and re-add them one at a time once my account is reinstated. I’m looking for any ideas.
