    When i try to run https://localhost/sociallymindful/installer.php it is showing me a load of characters:

    and not running properley not sure why this is.

    I’m using XAMPP for Windows 5.6.24.

    Any help woudl be appreciated.

    Thanks for the feedback! There are a few items in the FAQ that may provide a solution to this issue, this one may get you going.

    Thank you yes it did – the installer file must not have downloaded properly so going to it in the cpanel filemanager and downloading it made it work – The archive file wasn’t recognised at first but I think that was because my archive file had archive(1).zip at the end – removing the (1) made it work.

    Hi!, my problem is kind of the same… my site got injected with something, i downloaded a backup to install it locally and when i tried to install it by lunching the installer it redirects to the actual site… which is infected. ( the backup is clean ). any idea how to fix the installer?

    pd: i have no way to access the backend. Thanks in advance.
