Firearms retailer

  • Hello – I have a client who owns and operates a firearms store in Vancouver, British Columbia. They have website for online sales through Shopify. Shopify has notified them they will no longer be able to use the platform because they sell weapons as of 2019. I am investigating moving the client to a WordPress Site with WooCommerce for the sales portion and hosting the site on GoDaddy.. Can you verify if we will have any issues with using WordPress because of the type of product that is sold?

    That does not mean the companies that host your site will not have an issue with the content of your or your client’s site.

    They may or they may not. That is something that is outside of the scope of this place. This place (www.remarpro.com) only distributes and supports the software available here on this site.

    For host specific questions like “what will they allow or not allow” please contact those companies directly. That’s not a topic for these software support forums.
