• Hey Folks,
I thought I had things mostly sewn up in terms of my blog’s layout, but apparently there are some things left to work out.
    https://www.uncle-andrew.net/blog/
When I view my blog via IE 6 for Windows, there is a huge gap between the bottom of the topmost post and the top of the next post. The gap only exists between these two posts. It appears to be exactly as tall as the height of my menu, which suggested to me some sort of div problem, but I’m too dim to figure it out.
Validator says I have some improper “&” symbols (they’re actually text, not code), and a couple of misplaced List-based tags that I can’t quite nail down. But since the site looks fine in Safari, Netscape and Explorer (Mac) and Foxfire (PC), I’m not at all sure that has anything to do with my current problem.
Anyone have any suggestions? I’d wlcome input on the List tags as well. ??
    TIA,
    Andrew

Hey, thanks for the quick reply!
Regarding the menu: using position: absolute; results in the “credit” footer anchoring itself to just below the last post. I guess that’s not so much of a problem now, but it was really annoying when I only had one post, as the footer ended up sticking itself about halfway thorugh my menu.
Thanks for the tip about using coded “&”s. I didn’t think it was necessary, now I know better. ??
And thank you for identifying that stray list tag. I stared at that thing until my eyes bled.
    Andrew
