Yoast Keyword Highlighting Doesn’t Work

    I notice that the Keyword highlighting…using that little Eye Icon…doesn’t really work that well. It highlights some of the time, or a partial, or not at all.

    I have the keyword right in the first paragraph…doesn’t see it all.

    Gives a totally inaccurate keyword count.

    Not real useful. Hopefully this doesn’t work like this in the Premium…not worth the money if it does.

    Anyone see the same?

    Update the plugin, the problems are fixed

    The plugin is updated…less than a week ago.

    It seems other people have the same issue…highlighting not accurate or doesn’t work.

    @andyf Can you please confirm you are using the most recent Yoast v9.1? You can learn more about updating here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

    Can you also confirm you are using WordPress 4.9.8? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast.     ?If you update to the most current version of Yoast and WordPress, does this resolve the issue?
