Allow members to download material for a fee

    My neighbor is a retired teacher. He wants a WordPress site where he can host presentations on how to be a effective teacher, resolving teaching challenges etc. He has many such PowerPoint presentations. He wants to make them available for new teachers for a price. He knows that new teachers need to be given some material for free so that they are willing to pay for more content. He plans to give N(which can be changed) presentations for free after the user provides his email and getting his IP address, then if the user wants more, he can buy the other presentations.

    1. Can Paid Memberships Pro plugin allow a user to download N presentations for free, then ask the user after the N free downloads to signup, become a member, pay a fee to access more presentations? By tracking the IP address, it would know the user has used by the N free presentations.

    2. Can Paid Memberships Pro plugin be configured so that a user can buy different membership levels like silver, gold, platinum where silver members can get X presentations, gold members can download X + 5 presentations, platinum members can download X + 10 presentations?

    1. Can Paid Memberships Pro plugin allow a user to download N presentations for free, then ask the user after the N free downloads to signup, become a member, pay a fee to access more presentations? By tracking the IP address, it would know the user has used by the N free presentations.

    You may be able to use the Limit Post Views Add On to achieve something similar to this – https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/pmpro-limit-post-views/

    You can always customize Paid Memberships Pro to achieve this as it’s easily extendable with a bit of code.
