  • Hi Daniel,
    EM User here too ??

I can assure you that the iCal link does indeed work. I am using it myself to fill my personal calendar with all events. I even fill it with additional info regarding the spaces booked, booking names and phone numbers, etc.
So every time an event changes, it update my calendar.

And actually.. your link DOES work as well… Here’s a screenshot of my calendar for next week. Green is my own EM Feed, pink is yours ??

    See the screenshot:

Still, it does not appear in my Google Calendar!
    I may have bad settings.

I seems Google won’t play nice with an .ics file. The everlasting arrogance of Google, hehe ??

Have you tried using the webcal protocol as mentioned in the EM help files?
    iCal/Calendar

#_EVENTICALURL Displays the URL of the event ical feed (ics file format).
#_EVENTICALLINK Displays an html link to the event ical feed (ics file format).
#_EVENTWEBCALURL Same as #_EVENTICALURL, but using the webcal:// protocol, which will open up various calendar apps automatically including iCalendar, Outlook and Google Calendar.
#_EVENTWEBCALLINK Same as #_EVENTICALLINK, but using the webcal:// protocol, which will open up various calendar apps automatically including iCalendar, Outlook and Google Calendar.

This are for individual events but it might help you further. Also the url for Google lacks location info. See another thread here a couple of days ago…

    In https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/event-ical-feeds/

    All Future Events

You have one main ical feed, which is the equivalent to your RSS feed in ical format.

The calendar feed is always located in the same place, which is yourwpsite.com/events.ics and if you don’t have permalinks enabled use yoursite.com?ical=1

When you visit this link directly, you’ll be prompted to download an ics file, which you can then open in your calendar clients.

    But when I type https://belledonne-sport-nature.fr?ical=1
    nothing happens.

    Hello,

I have tried your link also and it is indeed Working on my End. Here is a Screenshot for it. https://take.ms/q3PIj

Would like to ask some questions also. Have you tried using other Browser or Perhaps Computer? There a lot of cases that sometimes it’s due to the Security Settings of Browser/Computer.

I’m using: Windows 10 Pro with Google Chrome when I tried it.

    Daniel,
If I click the ?ical=1 link, it downloads an ics file with 1 event. So something does happen… Check your download folder ??

Also, try to get your events into something other than Google. We all know they like to not use standards… If Tim succeeds and I got it working and you get it shown up in (let’s say Outlook), then the problem might just be Google. ??
