2.9.1 Site map not parsing

Hi Michael & AIOSEO

There seems to be a 2.9.1 parsing issue on xml site map. 2.9. Has the same issue.

Read that others are having similar issues. Went through the steps, but the issue continued.

Reverted back to an older version and the sitemap is working again.

Tried a local server with the same issue.

Seems to be image related as all parsing issues come up with something similar to “Line Number 3061, Column 30: ” <image:caption>image name here</image:caption>

Tried manually deleting site maps and regenerating same issue.

BTW when updating the settings on site map the page goes blank on test server and live. The settings change, but have to manually refresh dashboard.

Tried ticking “exclude images” same issue.

Tried Dynamically Generate Sitemap same issue

Tried another sitemap plugin – worked fine

Tired AIOSEO previous version – worked fine
