How can I display a Posting category index selection menu

  • Hi,

    Having trouble finding how to display a selection menu of some sort (any sort) in either the right hand or left hand column of every displayed web page. What are the various ways around this? To me its important to make the blog as easy as possible for both readers and users to navigate around.

    Also:
    My blog is set up so only registered users can post ie. they MUST log in first to actually make a posting. I did create a test user, but never received an request confirmation email to ensure a valid email address was used or to notify the user of his registration details. The user is now active though.

    A reference to any existing documentation or posts is fine, just that I haven’t been able to find a solution after looking myself

    Managed to resolve it myself.

    You can use the widgets to display the things you want to include
    Also – the text widget allows you to include ‘extra’ items that you want to add – eg. 120×190 banners, or links to other places – but you need to use the appropriate html coding.
