    Hello All,

I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and if they have a solution…? My searches don’t show results with the same error.

Using WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway – When the customer goes to complete the Payment, they get the error message – “Internal Server Error” – in a red warning box. The page is still visible.

It appears to the customer that their payment wasn’t taken, but in fact it was. It shows both in the Orders section of the Dashboard and also in my the Stripe Dashboard.

I’ve since disabled the plugin as customers were getting concerned with the errors…

    Any ideas?

    Hello,

Are you still seeing this issue with your customers? Have you tried yourself using testmode to see if it happens?

    Hey @cavtec @richo8

Do you have Stripe debugging enabled? Can you ask your web host if they have server logs which can help out find out what is happening when this error appears, please?

An “Internal Server Error” is admittedly a generic error message so we need some troubleshooting to find out what is causing it.

This is likely caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. Read more about plugin and theme conflicts in our Self-Service Guide.

For more detailed instructions about conflict testing, check out this – How to test for plugin and theme conflicts.

This should hopefully help you find out what is happening but since we haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread or please do open a support ticket at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/

    Thanks,
