Ajax search light NOT linkable post as results??

Hi Marco,

Thank you for the details, it helps us a lot.

So I have tried to search for some phrases, I got some results, clicked on any of them, and I was redirected to that result post. Was the problem resolved, or do you still see it? If so, can you tell me what browser you are using, and what search phrase should I try?

Unfortunately nothing has got resolved.

I have used random words, for example NIN. I will record a video for you.

Also, as you can see, once I get the results, the original search bar changes from a long one to a small grey one. How to keep the same bar in the search results page?

Hi Marco,

Oh, you mean the results page, not the live results.

Unfortunately that layout is not controlled by the plugin, it is a theme related feature. You will have to ask the theme author on why those items are unclickable.

To replace the search within the theme, use this option. If that does not work, then the search is hard coded to the theme, and that cannot be replaced automatically. The theme author should be able to help to locate that as well, and suggest how to replace that with a custom search shortcode.

Yes I guessed the same thing as I got the same issue with another plugin other than yours.

I tried to replace the search within the them and this worked.

I have opened a ticket with the developer of the theme, thank you for your help ??

no worries, I found out that the titles were not linkable because I had removed the post title links. So now it is ok ??

First question: Another questions related to the same search bar. How do I reset the results? If I just clear the search and I press Enter this will give me 0 results. But I would like only to clear the search in order to see again the original page.

Second question: I cannot manage to have any picture next to the search result while the feature image is set from the settings. How do I show it?

Third question: How do I change the background color of the search result layout?

I’m glad you were able to solve that issue.

1. I am not sure what do you mean by clearing to see the original page. Can you please explain this in more details? Thank you!

2. I am seeing pictures by the live search results like so. Do you see something different? Or do you mean the results page? Because that cannot be affected by the plugin (in terms of layout). That needs to be implemented to the theme itself.

3. If you mean the live results list, then you can use this custom CSS code:

.asl_r {
    background: #de6464 !important;
}

Just change it to the color code that you need.

1) Yes i will try to explain better. When I access to this page https://www.ninserviziogratuito.co.uk/tutte-le-nostre-guide I see a page with a number of articles. If I type something on the bar, for example NIN, and press enter, I will get a number of results. Now, I would like reset those results (like it works on filters) and going back then to the original page https://www.ninserviziogratuito.co.uk/tutte-le-nostre-guide as I had not typed anything in the bar. Basically resetting what I have typed so going back to what the page is supposed to show when I click on the url

1. Well, the only way in that case is to simply go back with the browser back button. I don’t think there is other way on the search page itself.
