• Dear Jason,

I have tried the following css items and they are working if I select display on post and page, but it will not update the shortcode. Am I doing something incorrect?

    .rt-reading-time,
    .rt-label,
    .rt-time

    Thank you

    Hi there,

I actually just was putting together a fix for this. The shortcode is currently only getting the class .span-reading-time.

The next update to the plugin will match the markup when the reading time is entered automatically in the content.

As a temporary fix you can target the .span-reading-time class. It will remain in the next update too.

    Dear Jason,

Thank you for confirming that, as it was driving me nuts. Any ETA on when the next patch will be ok?

If there is no ETA will just add the temp fix.

Should hopefully have it out this week. Need to do some testing with some other updates being made to this version.

In the meantime if you’re comfortable using github you can get the updates from the current master branch. https://github.com/yingles/reading-time-wp/

    Dear Jason,

Fair enough, I did try the .span-reading-time and it seem to work alright.

I will take a look at the github and will give it a test on the demo site.
