Remove links from post meta

Hi. I have removed the automatic generating of pages for categories and tags so the links generated in my post meta lead to missing pages. Is there a way I can remove links from the post meta? I would still like for the categories and tags they’re filed under to be displayed, but I don’t want them to be displayed as links.
