• After several hours trying to set up the Facebook API (this forced to becoming a FaceBook developer to do so) you are informed that it will take 8 weeks for it to be approved!!! But for the yearly fee they can somehow circumvent this…
There documentation seems very detailed but the opening line of the plugin description
“This plugin automatically publishes posts from your blog to your Social Media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+(Google Plus), Blogger, Tumblr, Flickr, LinkedIn, ok.ru, LiveJournal, DreamWidth, Flipboard, Instagram, Telegram, Line, Diigo, Instapaper, Pinterest, Plurk, VK.com (VKontakte), YouTube, Scoop. It, WordPress, XING etc.”
    is extremely deceiving.
Thanks for wasting my time and not being straightforward about the whole process. I will not shell out for the yearly fee just because of this. Had you been up front, perhaps.
All in all, I can’t even tell you how the plugin works! I will have to go back an undo all of this. I would have rather spent my Sunday afternoon being more productive…

  • I’ve been using free SNAP version for two years, other than the odd ‘blip’, no problems.

It’s fair to say it does take some time in ‘getting your head around it’ when setting it all up, but once done, its done.

    just sayin ??
