My client’s multisite broke down because of this update. The main site worked fine, but subsites returned a blank page. The admin dashboard for subsites didn’t work either. Immediately started working after disabling this plugin.

I didn’t remember to save the debug logs. But server logs had some mentions:

    mod_fcgid: stderr: in /var/www/vhosts/(OUR DOMAIN)/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-google-analytics-integration/woocommerce-google-analytics-integration.php on line 136

Mind you that we don’t even have woocommerce activated on those subsites.

  • Hi @juhopr,

Immediately started working after disabling this plugin. Mind you that we don’t even have woocommerce activated on those subsites.

    The most recent changes are:

    * Tweak – Mention Google Analytics Pro in certain cases.
    * Tweak – WC 3.5 compatibility.

It is possible that since 3.5 is still in Beta, things are being worked out. As it only does some declaration for the Pro version, drop back down to 1.4.4 and await WooCommerce 3.5 to be released and then update. If the problem returns, let us know. We will keep this thread open for the time being.

I had the same problem today when I upgraded to woocommerce 3.4.7

    Same error – error 500

    Howdy @zedrl and @jonathanwinn!

Can you try the following steps:

    1. Temporarily rename the woocommerce-google-analytics-integration plugin folder to restore site (ex: temp-woocommerce-google-analytics-integration)
    2. Reactivate WooCommerce
    3. Restore the folder name to woocommerce-google-analytics-integration

Please let us know how that goes, and if it removes the fatal error message.

You can also report your findings directly on the issue here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-google-analytics-integration/issues/129

    For @juhopr:

Mind you that we don’t even have woocommerce activated on those subsites.

Google Analytics Integration version 1.4.5 will cause a fatal failure if WooCommerce is not activated. You’ll either need to activate WooCommerce for the subsites, or deactivate this Google Analytics Integration plugin.
