Please help!!! The home page keeps disappearing

Hi,

This is the first time I am uploading wordpress with NO success… though I have tried 5 times on 2 different sites… both with the same results and it is driving me crazy.
I have done everything as instructed.
-I have uploaded the wordpress file to the public.html dir
-When I first install & I go to my domain I can see the wordpress template there.
-After I login & change the things in the instructions it goes to a 403 or 404 file or my host servers holding page.
-When I try & load a template, they are there, I can see the thumbnails, but when I click on it & it opens in a new screen I get my host servers holding page.

SOOOOOOOOOO Frustrated. I’ve even tried using installatron… same thing. I am not changing anything major, just general stuff but it keeps happening.

Can anyone help me please?
