• I am entering text in the WYSIWYG editor, but none of the text is being formatted correctly. Even a line break is not created. Any ideas on what may be causing this would be appreciated. Thanks.

  • I totally agree with @tubbco15. I am facing the same exact issue as well.

With high hopes, I have chosen the plugin but inability to render the formatted text correctly is a deal breaker. Hope author can respond soon as it is an urgent issue.

    Hi
please share your url where you are using accordion plugin shortcode and if you are creating a new line then use <br> tag.

    Thanks

Even that does not help. There seems to be something wrong with the plugin.

    Hi, got the same issue.

I would expect the WYSWYG editor to do the work for me adding the correct codes like </br> or <p>, but not happening.

Also strange that the editor allows to add

in stead of just creating a ordered or numbered list like you can do in other editors

I found the </br> not doing the correct job. The best result you get by using <p>….</p> around paragraphs (pieces of separate text)

Its been a month since the issue was reported and we still don’t have a solution for it. Can you please update us about your stance on the issue?

    Ping: @tubbco15, @bruijnesteijn

I think I misunderstood your ‘WYSWYG’ editor as it starts in the TEXT tab showing the codes (not WYSWYG) and not the VISUAL tab showing the actual formatting.

Bottom-line it does the trick once you know how this. But I would suggest to start you editor with the other VISUAL TAB.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your suggestion.

Hi, I just downloaded this plug-in and I am having this issue. When I click “use WYSIWYG” editor,” nothing happens. Does this plugin not have a WP editor function for content? Or do you have to purchase the premium version? At this point, I have to type code for everything which is a waste of time. I like the other features, so hopefully I’m missing something?

The paragraphs from the Text editor disappear when you view the accordion or when you go to Visual. They have to be added manually in the accordion edit window as <p> tags. Not convenient for my client at all, they want easy editing. dev site https://cti.maestrawebdesign.com/training-programs/our-courses/
I have added the <p> tags manually here – if I just use the WYSIWIG editor they don’t show.
Please clarify if this will ever be fixed. I won’t be going PRO if this shortcoming appears in the PRO version as well.

I am also in trouble with the same thing.
WYSIWIG editor does not display <p> tag.
I need to add it manually.
My client can not use it because it has no knowledge.
Will this be fixed in the future?

I’m having the same issue. It was working but now all text is in a single block. There are no spaces between lines or paragraphs. WYSIWYG doesn’t work and adding <p> <br> tags etc., has no effect in the Text editor (although <h2> does work. Anything added in the Text Editor disappears when the Accordion is updated.

In the Accordion Description the text is formatted correctly and looks good. But after Updating and refreshing the page (and deleting cache and trying in a different browser), the text is just one block of unformatted words.

I think the maker of this plugin don’t read the comments…
Having the same issues. Have to look for an other plugin
