Just getting started with your plugin, and all is looking good so far.

However… there doesn’t appear to be a field to enter the client’s email address in the edit client record page. Is that right? Seems a strange omission to me if it is!

    Thanks.

    Hello Peter,

Sprout Invoices adheres to the concept that many people can be assigned to a single client/business. So you’ll find in the sidebar a way to associate (and create) users to the client record.

Having a many:1 relationship allows for a lot of cool features, one of which allows for multiple people receive notifications, maybe an account manager and a accountant.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I hope you’re enjoying Sprout Invoices.

    Kind Regards,

So you mean in the Update metabox where it says “Associated Users”?

I see now that’s how it works, and that’s great, but to my mind when it says “users” I immediately thought of WordPress user accounts. It might be clearer to use a title other that “users” (especially since it let me select my own admin user account there!!)

    Cheers

    Cheers!
