Add Thumbnail to Popular Posts

I’m trying to add thumbnail images of each of the posts that will be listed in the popular posts category, using the popular posts plugin.

As far as I can tell, there isn’t any simple option for the post titles to be displayed along with a thumbnail from each post.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
