    Hi there,

    By default, the categories in the sidebar show as a list or a dropdown menu. You can choose the dropdown menu instead. Based on your screenshot, looks like there might be a collapsable option that is offered via your theme. You could see if your theme allows to collapse the Category widget as well, or you may need to include some custom coding to do so.
