Add gallery doesnt work (missing scripts in head)

    Hello,
    I have a problem with foobox free plugin on my webpage. When I try to add a new gallery or a new album in admin (url: /post-new.php?post_type=foogallery or /post-new.php?post_type=foogallery-album) I get blank page with only a wordpress footer. In DevTools I get 3 errors, saying “Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined”. Also when I look through the scripts, they are all at the end of a body and there is not a single script in the head (head is empty). I do not have similar problem with different pages or plugins, just in those 2 situations. Some advices?

  • I am having the same problem and spent hours debugging it. Now I am error free, but the gallery does not work. I hate to use another plugin as I do have this running on one website and it is just great.

    Actually the weird thing is that the foo gallery demo is working on the splash intro screen in wordpress so maybe that means something?

    @prokub, please can you try to deactivate all other plugins to see if you still have the problem. If the problem goes away, then that means there is a conflict with another plugin.

    @elizabeth-abernathy – please start a new thread and include a link to your page with the gallery that is not showing

    I’m just following up on your support request.

    As Brad mentioned one the most common reason for a jQuery error is a conflict with another plugin. Additionally caching plugins sometimes have settings for javascript minimisation or loading locations that can cause errors and are worth looking ito and testing.

    I’m going to assume that you’ve resolved this issue but please feel free to reopen this request if you are still having this issue or create a new support request if we can help with anything else.
