Role based prices for variations

  • Hey, Do I have to insert the role based pricing for each individual variation?

    I have regular price: 39 USD
    The product is a show in 5 variations = sizes

    I have the reseller price: 30 USD

    I entered the prices for regular and reseller. But now my variations do not have the correct prices. Do I have to insert the very same reseller price for each variation?

    If you have multiple variations of a product, you will need to set up the price in each variation. Here’s an example of how I do it: I have a product that comes in 3 size (small, medium and large). I set the regular price to 1.00 (so RBP works) and then select each variation (size) and enter a price for the different roles (ie Admin, Subscriber, Logged out and customer. I have encountered an issue of my RBP not showing and/or working properly when I DON’T set the regular price. AND…if I want to put something on sale, I have to go add a sale price (ie .99) and then go in to each variation and set a sale price. Unless there is another way to make RBP work….
