Images (not attachments) are getting indexed and shown in Googles web serps

    I have redirected images to pages.

    Recently, 500 images started appears in web search results.

    I am getting errors for those 500 images in webmaster tools that Google can’t crawl the URLs that I submitted. They appear as pages with errors.

    When you say you’ve redirected images to pages, do you mean that you’ve set the redirect attachment option to ‘yes’ under SEO > Search Appearance > Media?

    Could you please provide some screenshots or further details on the URLs that have errors, what errors these are, and provide some sample URLs?
