XML Sitemap Not Indexing Images

    Hi,
    I switched over to the SEO Framework, I noticed that Google webmaster tool doesn’t show the images getting indexed. You can see here in the screenshot that there are no bars of images.

    Is there something I am missing?

    Hi there ??

    An image sitemap is no longer needed for Google, they can find images on their own terms as they crawl your pages.

    Featured images (and social images) are used in the structured data brought with the Articles extension. These are also used in Google Image Search.

    To prove this concept, go to Google Image Search, and search for this, where example.com is your domain name:

    site:example.com
